Our history

Since we were founded in 2005, Arrow Global has achieved strong and sustained growth.

In 2013, we successfully completed an initial public offering and began trading on the London Stock Exchange. This allowed us to grow considerably through a series of carefully considered acquisitions and portfolio loan purchases. You can see the story of this expansion below.

A history of innovation

By combining a successful operating model pioneered in the US with local knowledge of UK and European markets, we’ve created an innovative and flexible debt purchasing and management platform. This enables us to create bespoke solutions for customers and creditors while complying with industry regulations.

Not afraid to do things differently, we created our Proprietary Collections Bureau, an innovative data-matching tool. We’ve also carried out extensive research to improve our services by gaining a better understanding of our customers and the consumer debt market.

In 2013, we commissioned the Personal Finance Research Centre at the University of Bristol along with the Royal College of Psychiatrists and Plymouth Focus Centre, to undertake a piece of research around motivations and barriers to engagement in the consumer debt marketplace.

Our innovative approach continued in 2016 with the launch of ‘Debt Britain 2016: The Big Picture – The Arrow Global Guide to Consumer Debt’. The report seeks to examine debt in its broader economic context.
